BIOGRAPHY

Damiano Della Torre is an Italian singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer whose international career includes collaborations with legends such as Joe Cocker, Luciano Pavarotti, Miriam Makeba, Manu Chao, and many others. Today, he channels his artistry into an innovative exploration of Solfeggio frequencies, creating soundscapes that shift from meditative atmospheres to hypnotic techno and psy-trance beats. His music invites listeners into transformative journeys where ancient vibrations meet contemporary sound design.

Born in Como, Damiano’s musical path began at the age of four and, by fifteen, he was already captivating audiences with his talent on piano and keyboards. Over the years, he mastered several instruments — including percussion, guitar and winds — establishing himself as a versatile multi-instrumentalist on the Italian music scene. After studying piano at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Como, he began performing internationally, sharing the stage with artists such as Adriano Celentano and Premiata Forneria Marconi (P.F.M.).

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists: international stars such as Joe Cocker, Tom Jones, Luciano Pavarotti, Compay Segundo, Miriam Makeba, Manu Chao, Sananda Maitreya (Terence Trent D’Arby); Italian icons including Giorgia, Carmen Consoli, Ligabue, Marina Rei, Antonella Ruggiero, Giorgio Gaber, Enzo Jannacci, Gianni Morandi, Piero Pelù. He has also appeared in numerous television productions, most notably alongside Adriano Celentano in prime time shows on Italian national television.

In 2010, he moved to Chicago to join the band of Sugar Blue, the harmonica player of the Rolling Stones, embarking on tours across the United States and Canada, with appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Great British R&B Festival in London, and the Blue Note in Beijing. He also collaborated with leading figures of the blues scene such as Charlie Musselwhite and Billy Branch.

Alongside his international activity, Damiano has led his own projects, including the Damiano Della Torre Band, Damiano Della Torre Jazz Trio, and the duo DEI, with his wife, saxophonist and composer Isabella Fabbri. As a solo performer, he now devotes his creativity to the fusion of electronic music and Solfeggio frequenciesfrom meditative atmospheres to techno and psy-trance live sets — exploring the intersection between ancient healing vibrations and contemporary sound design.

His discography spans pop, soul, jazz, fusion, world and electronic music, because, as he says, “every day is a new sound.”

Together with his wife Isabella Fabbri, he co-founded the music production studio CA’ NOVA Artistic House, the independent record label Good Waves Music, and the web radio RaDioSky — a creative hub where music, innovation and spiritual research converge.
