Damiano Della Torre (Como, 1973) is a pianist, singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. He started to study music at the very young age of 4 and he began his live activity at the age of 15 thanks to his extraordinary ability to masterfully play piano and keyboards, but also other instruments like percussions, guitars and winds.
After completing his piano studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Como, he collaborated musically with many international artists including Joe Cocker, Tom Jones, Pavarotti, Manu Chao, Miriam Makeba, Compay Segundo. During five years, he joined the Italian famous singer Adriano Celentano in all his TV shows on Rai 1 as multi-instrumentalist. He shared the stage with other popular Italian singers as Giorgia, Piero Pelù, Giorgio Gaber, Gianni Morandi, Enzo Jannacci, Carmen Consoli, Ligabue. He was in tour in Europe with Terence Trent D’Arby and in Italy with Premiata Forneria Marconi (also known as P.F.M.), Marina Rei and Antonella Ruggero. In 2010 he moved in Chicago to play with the Rolling Stones harmonica player, Sugar Blue, during three of intense tours in all the U.S.A. and Canada. He subsequently performed with him in Europe at renowned venues as the Montreux Jazz Festival and The Great British R&B Festival in London, playing also with the famous bluesman Charlie Musselwhite.
Currently he performs worldwide with his own projects.
In 2018 he founded the record label GoodWaves Records and the web radio RaDioSky.
